1982 was the final year for the C2 Corvettes and it was only fitting to give it a nice sendoff, so the Collector Edition was created. The '82 Vette was the first year for fuel injection since 1965 and they have been injected since then since. It was also the first Vette to sell for over $20K. Unique to the Collector Edition is the interior and exterior colors, striping, special badging, bronze T-Tops, rear hatch and turbine style wheels. This particular car is like a time capsule, the paint is almost 100% original as is the interior. It has the original window sticker, warranty card, dealer sales brochure, owners manual, radio manual and literature for the factory CB radio plus a lot of service records. The interior and external lights, radio, horn, heater, AC, power windows, locks, seat, antenna, theft deterrent and cruise control all work. It has the original spare tire, jack and T-Top bags with the correct date codes. The car runs and drives like new and the last few years of the C3s were vastly improved with creature comfort and drivability over the earlier C3s. It would also be a good candidate for NCRS Top Flight judging. Free heated storage is included until spring. A clean Carfax is on file, so buy with confidence and remember, "life is too short to drive boring cars"
