1962 was the second year of the third generation T-birds that ran from '61-'63 and was the first year of the Landau. The signature of the Landau was the vinyl roof and "S Bars" on the roof side panels. The lines of this generation were much more sleek than the previous generation, and they were truly a great luxury car of the day. They were also the feature car of Kennedy's inaugural parade! This particular car has had two caring owners, it has a solid body with beautiful paint and chrome. The interior is mostly original and very nice, featuring the "Swing Away" steering wheel that allows easy entry and exit for the driver and also has an optional power seat. The engine bay and undercarriage is all original and rust free. The 390 CID engine is mechanically great and runs smooth. While many cars of this era have had extreme highs and lows in market value, the Landaus have maintained a steady value, making it a very safe investment and a great car for Sunday drives.
