NEW PRICE and PRICED to SELL!!! The original Austin-Healey 3000 was built from March 1959 to March 1961 as models BN7 Mark I (2-seater) and BT7 Mark I (2+2 version). It features a 2912 cc I-6 engine, with twin SU carburetors and Girling front disc brakes. Wire wheels, overdrive gearbox, laminated windscreen, heater, adjustable steering column, detachable hard top, and two-tone paint were available as options. A total of 10,825 BT7s were produced. They are a very fun car to drive and with the O/D transmission was capable of speeds over 100 MPH This particular car had a complete restoration, it runs and drives perfect. With the two-tone paint and chrome spokes, it gets a lot of attention motoring down the road. It is complete with car covers, owners manual, spare tire with authentic jack and correct hammer for the knock off wheels The former owner had a custom music system made for the car. The rear seat cushion simply lifts out, and the speaker system sits in its place. Because this is not built in, the car can always have the stock appearance, but can easily be converted to have some great sounding music. as the Brits would say, "smartly done"! You will NOT be disappointed with this car, and remember, "Life is too short to drive boring cars"!
